The 2nd Edition of Gregory Andrus’ out-of-print first book – Portraits of the Jersey Shore: Everyone Has a Story, 2nd Edition is a beloved book throughout the Jersey Shore and beyond! Containing the over 100 original stories of the first edition, it also includes bonus new stories and even follow-up stories from some of the subjects interviewed in the first edition!
Each week Gregory Andrus goes to different shore towns along the Jersey coast and asks strangers to be interviewed. With three simple questions, hundreds of people have opened up and shared some of their most intimate, vulnerable stories of their lives. Typically the time together ends in an affirming hug, and always with Gregory training his camera on them for a portrait. Gregory has often said that he wants to use the words and photos of the subjects he meets to illuminate the image of God inherent in every person.
