Growing up on the Jersey shore I find this book fascinating, insightful and such an easy read! His words ring so true and go right to your soul.
It makes me want to walk the shore myself.
The photography is just as beautiful as the written word.
I have just finished reading this book and I truly was moved by it, savoring every word. I can honestly say though, I’m not sure what moved me most – the beautiful photography; or “traveling” to each beach alongside Gregory (especially Ocean Beach III, as our family has vacationed there for years); or reading about the journey towards healing after an unspeakably difficult childhood, a life-threatening injury and then the vulnerability of opening up about living with a mental illness. But I can’t ignore the beautiful testimony of his faith – an unwavering belief in the love, goodness, care and grace that has blanketed him all his life and is there for each of us as well. Thank you, Gregory!
