“I am staying in a shelter right now. I am 18. Two Fridays ago my mother kicked me out. She kicked me out once before, and I begged her to take me back. She took me back, but she kicked me out again. I am staying in a Code Blue shelter now. I am broke, and have nowhere to go.
“But I started going to this church here in Toms River, Wellspring. I met some people that go there from the shelter I stay at. I like the church. They have coffee and donuts and their music is really loud. I like it loud because I am Irish and I like to sing loud. I am not sure what I believe right now, if there is a God or not, but I am open to this church. They make me feel really welcome.”

I am 64 and still working. I was a stay at home mom for many years and only worked part time till the kids left home. Now I am working full time and planning to continue for another 3 years till my husband retires. So I will definitely be putting it off till then in order to get more.
