“This is Chile, and this is Cheech. They aren’t mine, though. I take care of them for someone else. I live in this building, with my mentally challenged nephew. It is a building for seniors and the disabled. Someone needed help with them, so I picked up the job. I do it for whoever needs it, but basically it is just these two I work with right now. Chile has been blind since I have been walking him, for four years. He is 15, Cheech is 13.
“I put a lot of my time into them. I really don’t want to see anyone else walking them, because they are not going to do it right. These dogs are my livelihood, and they are my life.”
