“I grew up with a father who was really good to people. It didn’t matter how busy he was, if someone needed something, he would stop what he was doing and help them.
“We had a neighbor who was an elderly woman, and this past year I noticed her front steps were falling apart, and it was dangerous for her to get in and out of her house up the stairs. So I came over her house and repaired her stairs for her. I didn’t accept any money or anything. She just needed them done, and I could do it. And that’s when I knew I had what it took to help people just like my dad.”
