“I am a junior in high school right now. I want to be a psychologist. I really like talking to people, and understanding people. The human brain is completely fascinating to me. There are a lot of people with disorders, that battle things in their head. I really like talking to people and helping them with their issues.
“My dad was very abusive while I was growing up. My mom left him when I was ten years old, and took us with her. We lived in five different shelters by the time I was 13, and I have a large lack of education because of it. I didn’t go to elementary school at all growing up, and I didn’t actually start going to school until I was in the 7th grade. I was still living in a shelter when I started going to public school in 7th grade. But I don’t want people to judge me because of all of that. I don’t want people to view me differently become of what I have been through. I want them to view me for where I am today, and where I am going in my life.”
